The 10 week Intermediate Tennis program is designed for adults who are proficient at the fundamental skills of tennis, as well as be able to hold a rally and play a full game at a good level.

Classes will focus on improving your technique and we will develop your movement and ball placement on shots.

Week 1: You will work on accuracy, efficiency with your movement and rallying
Week 2: You will be working on serving and point play
Week 3: You will be working on volleys and smashes. Net workouts will be incorporated into some fun and challenging games
Week 4: Serving and point play is the focus this week.
Week 5: Tactical advice and game plans.
Week 6: Lobs and passing shots,
Week 7: Cross court rallying
Week 8: Singles and doubles skills and practice
Week 9: Game Play OR make up lessons
Week 10: Game Play OR make up lessons

This class for this term is a 10 week program.

Week 1 to Week 8: 8 weeks of Lessons

Week 9 and Week 10: MAKE UP LESSONS or GAME PLAY

  • week 9 and 10 are reserved for MAKE-UP LESSONS if we have any rained out lessons in weeks 1 to 8
  • if there is no rain in weeks 1 to 8 then we will provide two extra sessions for GAME PLAY in weeks 9 and 10.

Site Directions

Our Courts are located in Camperdown Park, next to Camperdown Oval and behind Camperdown Commons. We have 6 courts, a BBQ area, and 2 undercover areas for sports, fitness, activities, and birthday parties. The official address is 33 Mallett Street Camperdown, but we can also easily be accessed from Australia Street, Camperdown. General 2 hour council parking is available next to Camperdown Park, but there are limited spaces (less than 15). Street parking is also available in the surrounding areas, whilst the nearest parking station is located on Missenden street near the RPA Hospital, two blocks away. Please respect our neighbouring tenants and employees of Camperdown Tennis, by not parking in the loading zone as this is in use 24 hours/7 days.
